Drifter von Knophen is a 15 month old magnificent sable German Shepherd. He is already very large and still has some growing and filling out to do. Drifter was taken to the shelter by his owners because they no longer had time for him. We can't imagine anyone giving up such a gorgeous dog. Not only is he beautiful, but he has a very sweet personality as well. He is easily 80 lbs if not more but once our volunteer spent some time with him Drifter proved himself to be a giant lap dog. He sat down in the volunteer's lap, gave some kisses and turned over for some belly rubs. Our volunteer is in love and wishes she could take him home for herself. His coat is thick and shiny, he walks great on leash and will be a very loyal family member to a special family.
